BADGES: Name badges are required to attend conference sessions and activities. Please wear your name badge at all times. There is a $5 charge to reprint lost badges. Badges with incorrect information will be reprinted at no charge.
BREAKOUT ROOMS: Once sessions are full, doors will be closed. Please respect room host requests. We must comply with room capacities by order of the fire marshal. To help determine seat availability, please place your belongings under your seat and not on the chair next to you.
CELL PHONES: Out of courtesy to presenters and fellow attendees, before entering sessions, please place cell phones on vibrate and turn off sounds associated with text messaging and notifications.
CHILDREN: Please note, this conference provides professional training to adults and is not suitable for children. Due to safety concerns, no one under the age of 12 (including infants in strollers) will be allowed in the meeting rooms
HARASSMENT: We are committed to creating an environment where everyone can participate without harassment, discrimination or violence of any kind. All meeting participants must be treated with respect and consideration. Registering for the meeting is considered an agreement to abide by this code of conduct. Harassment of any participant, speaker, staff member, vendor or volunteer during the event or on social media will not be tolerated. This includes but is not unlimited to unwanted verbal attention, unwanted touching, intimidation, stalking, shaming or bullying. Discrimination on the basis of gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, age disability, physical appearance, race, religion, national origin, or ethnicity will not be tolerated.
RECORDING: Material presented or displayed at the Conference, including but not limited to presentations, posters, workshops, and exhibit booths, is the intellectual property of the presenter and may not be recorded, photographed, quoted, disseminated or transmitted in any form without the express approval of the author of the material presented. Such materials must contain appropriate credits for all content used.
SAFETY: While every effort has been made to ensure the safety of all delegates, the organizers cannot be held responsible and/or liable for any personal accident, loss or damage to private property of those attending the conference.
SCENTS: Out of courtesy to other attendees, please be considerate that some individuals may have severe sensitivity to perfumes. Please abstain from wearing heaving scents and spraying scents in public areas.
SMOKING: For the comfort and health of all attendees, smoking is not permitted at any conference sponsored functions. Attendees should adhere to any signage preventing or authorizing smoking in certain locations.
SUITCASING: Suitcasing refers to the practice of attending a trade show but “working the aisles” from a suitcase or briefcase, soliciting business from other attendees and exhibitors. For the good of the show and the Exhibitors/Sponsors supporting the show, the only legitimate place to conduct business during show hours is within a contracted exhibit space on the show floor. Exhibitors/Sponsors are encouraged to protect their investment and report any violations to Conference Management. Attendees observed soliciting business in the aisles or other public spaces or in another company’s booth will be ejected from the Event and may be banned from future events, in Conference’s sole discretion.
SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS: If you are in need of special accommodations, e.g., sign language interpretation, please contact the conference office at (505) 266-3451 at least two weeks before the conference. PETS: Pets are not allowed at the conference. The only exception is for service animals.
PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY: By registering for the Conference, you give permission to have your image taken and used in future promotional materials. See Section D of Terms & Conditions.
WEAPONS: For the safety of all attendees, the Conference is “weapons free” and all participants, including staff, volunteers and attendees are banned from possessing any object or substance intended to cause injury to others, including but not limited to firearms.
